Getting you where you need to be

Giving up driving should not mean giving up your life. Our transport service is door to door and person to person: a carer collects you, helps you in and out of the car, stays with you at the appointment if you want them to, and sees you safely back inside at home.

  • Anyone who needs a hand getting in and out of a vehicle
  • Families who cannot always be available during work hours

What is included

  • Transport to and from medical and allied health appointments
  • Shopping and banking trips
  • Social outings, family visits and community events
  • A carer who accompanies you, not just a driver
  • Assistance with mobility aids and parcels
  • Waiting with you during appointments where needed
  • Wheelchair-accessible options on request

How it works

  1. 01

Book your trip with your Care Manager, ideally a few days ahead for regular appointments.

  2. 02

Your carer arrives at the agreed time and helps you from your door to the car.

  3. 03

At your destination the carer helps you inside and, if you wish, stays with you.

  4. 04

After the trip the carer sees you safely home and settled.

Who delivers it

Transport is delivered by support workers with a current driver licence, comprehensive insurance and a vehicle safety check, or in client vehicles where preferred.

Questions

Common questions about transport

Yes, if you would like them to. Many clients find it helpful to have someone take notes or help them remember questions.
