Good Samaritan Home & Aged Care was founded in Rooty Hill by people who have cared for their own parents. We built the provider we wished we had found.

Our story
Why we started
“
We set out to be the provider we wished we had found for our own families.
Most of us have been on the other side of this. A parent who needs more help than the family can give. A hospital discharge with no plan. A roster of strangers who never seem to be the same person twice.
Good Samaritan was set up to be the provider we wished we had found. Small enough that your care manager knows your name and your routine. Structured enough that nothing falls through the cracks: a registered nurse leads clinical governance, a dedicated officer looks after quality and compliance, and every policy is signed off by the director.
We are new, and we are open about that. What we bring from day one is the governance most small providers only build years later, and a team who chose aged care because they care about older people, not because it was a job going.
The same small group of carers, introduced before they start
Registered nurse oversight of every clinical decision
One care manager who knows you and answers the phone
Clear pricing, explained before anything begins
Care plans reviewed with you and your family
Honest updates, including when something goes wrong
Good Samaritan Home & Aged Care is a newly established provider. Our application for registration with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is in progress. We are welcoming enquiries now so that care can begin as soon as we are able to deliver it.
What we stand for
Three words we try to earn on every visit
Compassion
We treat every client the way we would want our own parents treated: with patience, warmth and respect for the life they have lived.
Support
Care is coordinated, documented and reviewed. A registered nurse oversees the clinical side and a care manager keeps everything else on track.
Independent living
Our job is to do the things that let you keep doing everything else. We support independence, we do not replace it.
Leadership and governance
The people behind your care

Let's talk about the care you need
A short, no-obligation conversation with our Care Manager is the best place to start. We will listen first, then tell you honestly what we can do.
